Marina Bay

Here is looking towards the Vietnam Veterans Memorial from "Cream and Sugar" in Marina Bay. It was getting late, but not quite a sunset shot. Those will be coming soon.

Sweet

A couple of days ago, in celebration of my daughter's new glasses, we went to "Cream and Sugar", an ice cream place on Marina Bay. We managed to get there minutes before they closed. (The ice cream that I got was cookie dough, in case you were wondering.) I'll be showing the sunset shots in the next few days.

Yay! Spring!

I really liked the colors of these flowers. This winter seemed to last forever.

Police Memorial

I found this police memorial at One Schroeder Plaza in Roxbury. At night the flame part of the memorial glows blue.

Angels and Devils

I found this sculpture in front of one of the Mass College of Arts buildings. It wasn't a very windy day, so I am not sure if the windmill looking part of the clock actually moves in the wind.

WYC

Taken the same day as the Squantum yacht club, this is the Wollaston Yacht Club. This yacht club was founded in 1897.

I found this weathervane on one of the houses on Beach Street in Quincy MA. The angle that I had made a rainbow effect.

Morning at Totplex, with all the cars all lined up for children to play with them.

Totplex is an indoor playspace for kids from walking to age six. There is a play area (part of which is pictured here) as well as other spaces for sports classes (like ice skating, soccer and T-ball). For some reason that I can't understand, this place is NOT open during school holidays. Are there places like this where you live?

We decided to take a walk to Wollaston beach yesterday. It was a bit cold, but very pretty. This is a view of Boston and the Squantum yacht club.

The SYC was founded in 1890.

Granite Railway

The incline section of the Granite Railway. You can't tell from the picture, but it is in the middle of a residential neighborhood.
